 Empowering Your Soul …

Touching deep into our soul, we realize just how beautiful we really are. We can see all possibilities, unending time and space, universal wisdom, freedom and glory. Anything less than this is limitation!

Imagine yourself whole and full, happy and powerful. Is that how you feel every day? Or do you limit yourself to fit in or to “stay out of trouble”?

Any limitation causes suffering….to you.

“Did you know that if you aren’t allowing all of yourself to express, your life could feel harder than necessary, making more work for you on a day to day basis?”

To explore the ways in which you are creatively expressing and to discover any ways in which you are limiting yourself; grab some paper and a pen, then go through the following exercise, answering honestly:

If you could have your ideal life without limitations what would that look like? Write down what you DO want. When you are finished write all the things you DON’T want.

Here is an example to get you started:

Sue wrote that she wants a better job, more freedom, a loving relationship. She also wrote that she doesn’t want to let go of her past hurt for fear of the future.

In this example you can see how Sue is blocking what she says she wants by not letting go of things in the past. This shows the importance of not only looking at what you DO want but what might be holding you back.

The things you express on the DON’T want list, are areas to bring your awareness to. These things need to be resolved in order to express yourself fully and creatively. Look at why you don’t want these things; write down your thoughts about it, allow time in between writing and thinking about it. Sometimes we learn a whole lot more when we aren’t really thinking about a topic directly.

If you have only written things in the DO want list, you are either already creating effectively or you can do so. Just give yourself permission and get busy creating!

Untapped Energy

Most of us have ‘untapped’ energy sources. One of the biggest resources for energy is in the masculine and feminine energy combination in our body. Often we have either allowed limited amounts to express or we have blocked the energy altogether. This not only lowers our energy but it creates in imbalance.

You can use the following exercise to check your untapped resources:

How do you feel about men or masculine energy? How do you feel about women or feminine energy?

If you don’t feel completely comfortable with both; meaning you have negative perceptions, you have an untapped energy source. By reconciling your reasons/fears about men and/or women, you will set yourself free and also unblock the energy in your own body that isn’t flowing properly.

Here’s an example to help you get in touch with your own feelings:

Sue had an experience where men in her life were dominating, mean, controlling and abusive. As a result she believed that these qualities were true for all men and she rejected masculine energy, especially strong male energy.

By making this blanket belief about men, she also cut off her own masculine energy, creating an imbalance.

It is important to know that experience does not always equal truth.

Empowered Men and Women

There is a dance between the masculine and feminine energy in life. The dance includes balancing both energies, with the feminine leading and the masculine following. This is true for each person. If you take your time and work on balancing your masculine and feminine energies, you will not only feel more balanced with more energy but you will also find less contradiction in your life.

Let’s get to know the true qualities for empowered men and women. I have listed a few qualities for each to get started but feel free to add your own:

Empowered masculine energy is strong, powerful, courageous, fair, dependable, creative, honest, and combines with feminine energy. And feminine energy is embracing, powerful, nurturing, creative, intuitive and combines with masculine energy. They are two sides or parts of the whole. A balanced individual has a balance of both energies.

Experience, Thoughts and Beliefs

Remember you create your experience by your thoughts and by your beliefs. If you are thinking in a limited way or have picked up limiting beliefs, you will not be expressing yourself fully or experiencing true joy in your daily life. You can always change your thoughts with a little work and by developing new habits. You can change your beliefs by asking yourself without judgment, one belief at a time, does this belief really resonate with me, what do I feel and think about it.

One step at a time you can begin to break down old patterns and beliefs and discover untapped energy! Happy journeying to You!

How do you limit yourself in your everyday life?

Do you think your male/female energy is balanced or does it need some adjusting?

If you are out of balance, what are you willing to do to change the situation?

I am proud to be a woman too! I think you can be feminine and powerful and strong at the same time. I am trying to get better at both.

Thanks so much for all your recent comments. I apologize for the delay in responding. I also teach, and school started last week, and it’s been a little hectic. (Not to mention plugin problems with my blog!).
