Be Aware Now
ByGuest Post by William-Thomas Wegner
Jane Roberts (by way of Seth) said it years ago, “The point of power is now.” Staying present is becoming much more difficult for most people as the pace of life seems to be increasing to a break-neck speed. I believe I am a bit different. I make an attempt to be aware and experience wonderment in each day that I continue to exist on earth, during this particular incarnation.
Many decisions made throughout a day are where one should focus their attention.
I deal with the whole raft of things from the holographic model of the universe down (also the holographic model of the brain via Talbot, Pribram, and Bohm) to staying focused in the here and now. The “now” seems to be more “fun”.
Labyrinth Path
Recently, my new lady friend, Mary and I decided to walk a labyrinth outside one of the local colleges here in the Twin Cities. When we arrived to take our walk, because of new construction that labyrinth no longer existed – Gone! However, as things happen in a way I entitle ‘Divine Timing”, she found out two days later that a labyrinth existed in the chapel of the hospital where she worked. So we decided to take our labyrinth walk in the hospital chapel instead. This labyrinth also happened to be right across from the hall where she was making a presentation to which I was invited a few minutes after we were to complete that sacred journey.
When we arrived and began our journey, there seemed to exist an aspect of Divine Timing. While we were walking this labyrinth together where I had taken the lead, another person arrived in the chapel where the labyrinth resided. Even though Mary and I were both focused on our endeavor, we couldn’t help but notice how thoughtfully and respectfully she laid out her prayer rug and paid homage at that time of day for her call to prayer. The energy did shift; we both mentioned it after the lecture as I was walking her to her car.
There was something very “special” about that experience. Why? When Mary met me in the center of the labyrinth, she stated when she looked into my eyes and saw the love emanating from them and felt the energetic vibrations of that sacred space in particular, that she felt a shift in her perspective and how she related to the world.
We all are capable of doing such things if we believe them possible.
Freedom and Responsibility
Would it have been the same experience had not the third member appeared with her prayer rug? Who knows? I have free-will and vote “No!” One of the things that I have been focused on educating my clients is that we lose our attention five to fifty times an hour. It takes concentration and what is called ONE MINDFULLY to realize that the freedom exists within each of us to choose our behaviors, emotions and belief systems. Along with this freedom also comes a responsibility. What is that? Be here now, be aware, and be a vessel for Spirit.
As a hypnotherapist who has a very radically different theoretical clinical model (TCM) that traces its roots back to my BA degree in Physics, I strongly believe in what I call client centered therapy. My perspective is that we are Divine Thought Manifesting beings with the privilege of being here on Earth now at this very important time with respect to the reuniting of science and spirituality. I believe that each of us has the freedom to choose his or her own behaviors, emotions, and belief systems and likewise so does everyone else. As was said on the Starship Enterprise – ”Make it so!” It is up to you… it really is!
